“Oh that I knew where I might find him!” (Job 23:3)
Sometimes Jesus hides for our sake. At other times, He hides so that we will seek Him. At the end of Jesus ministry, the Jewish leaders rejected Him and plotted His death. He hid from them to leave them in darkness because they would not believe. At the same time there were Greeks (gentiles) seeking Him; “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: (Isaiah 55:6) He looks for those who are living like they seek Him.
