The Old Testament prophets wrote about Jesus’ first and second comings. When they described a suffering servant, they prophesied his first coming. When they wrote of his glory and reigning, it pictured his second coming. The 2nd coming has two parts that are separated by seven years time. The first is when he comes for his bride, the Church. All who are born again will be “raptured,” taken up, to be with Him. We will be translated, that is changed from physical bodies to spiritual bodies (your soul). In seven years, at his second coming, he will bring us with him as he returns to conquer and destroy. Jesus’ first coming was for the cross. His second coming is for a crown, the crown over the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus, the suffering servant, already wears the crown over the Kingdom of God.
