The purpose of the virgin birth was, “It is finished.” Jesus was born in a human body so He could die and break the power of death and the one who held the power of death. “It is finished” are the greatest words ever spoken by the greatest man about the greatest thing ever done! Jesus finished what Adam started. The best men in the Bible started well and didn’t finish. Salvation isn’t about our performance, it’s about Jesus’ accomplishment.
