The Moabites were the result of Lot’s daughters’ incest with their drunken father, Lot. Moab in the Bible is always a type, or picture of the flesh and/or, the world. Your flesh wants to corrupt all the good things of God. There are countless examples of the flesh today, even in the church, even in each of our lives. That’s why preaching either makes you glad— or mad!
