The position of a pastor is fearful. That is, there is much a pastor is accountable and responsible for to God, his congregation and the gospel. There are too many pastors who don’t preach the Bible or the gospel, that preach only the attributes of God that a lost man would find acceptable—soothsayers. Too many pastors are on pedestals, elevated there by congregations that look to them as a celebrities, whose ministries carry their names. God needs more missionaries, pastors and servants with the humility and courage to offend the world and glorify Jesus.
