The word for “mystery” is not found in the Old Testament, only in the New. That’s because God’s supernatural plan for redemption was not fully revealed until after Calvary. A mystery is that which is beyond comprehension until explained. Here is where these mysteries were explained.
- The mystery of the Incarnation (1 Tim. 3:16).
- The mystery of the Indwelling Christ (Col. 1:25-27).
- The mystery of the Body of Christ (Eph. 5:32-33, 3:1–5).
- The mystery of the Rapture (1 Cor. 15:51).
- The mystery of the Blindness of Israel (Rom. 11:25-27).
- The mystery of Iniquity (2 Thess. 2:6-9).
- Justification by Faith (Romans 16:25,26, Ephesians 6:19 Acts 13)
