There is a tremendous difference between the first time Jesus came (Isaiah 53) and when he comes again (Revelation 19:12-16). His first coming as an infant might read like weakness but far from it; He came in willingness to fulfill God’s purpose for his creation. When he comes back, and it could be at any moment, it will be with righteous anger and terrible destruction. We have a job to do before that, preaching the gospel to our loved ones and all that we cross paths with.
