God divides things that belong apart but he created man to be together with him, for communion with Him. Sin, on the other hand, causes separation, separating man from God, man from men, animals and creation. The Cross of Christ restores us to fellowship with God and each other. The cross unites Jews and Gentiles. The word ‘together’ is found in 134 verses in the New Testament. God created us to experience life together.
