There’s a difference between spiritual gifts that God has blessed you with and spirituality. Spiritual gifts are abilities and talents God has gifted you with to help others. These gifts can work and help others even when you’re carnal and not walking in the Spirit. Sometimes some of the most gifted people are carnal because their gifts allow them to appear spiritual to others. Judas was gifted like the rest of the disciples and used his gifts alongside the others. Samson was gifted, yet carnal. Your spirituality is private, known only to God but eventually it surfaces publicly. Many church leaders have fallen prey to their flesh when relying on their gifts instead of on God. When we focus on walking in His Spirit, God can use our gifts for his plans and purposes.
