When God told Damuel that Saul would be removed as King, Samuelcried and mourned. This was not the plan. Saul had a promising start as King but wen downhill fast. Samuel thought it would never be as good but while Saul ad Israel cowered, God’s plan smote Goliath. God’s plan was better than man’s mess.
