When Gideon and his 300 men faced the Midianites, the tribe of Ephraim criticized him. As too often happens amongst the brethren, the ones doing nothing criticize the ones doing something for the Lord. Satan’s goal is to distract those doing something for God and he’ll often use those who aren’t. Don’t be distracted, continue the work. Meanwhile Gideon ‘taught’ the men of Succoth. Disobedience hurts. Sin is painful (though it wears an alluring disguise).
