There are different kinds of resurrections and as he often does, God orders in threes. Jesus tells us we must be born again because we’re born dead. When you’re born again, that’s the first resurrection; it’s a spiritual resurrection. Your spirit, that was dead is filled with the life of Christ, which means that after your flesh dies, your eternal soul (the real you) will experience the second one, the physical resurrection of life. There is a third type of resurrection in the Bible for the lost. For those that die in the sin of unbelief, there is a resurrection of damnation. This should motivate our sharing the gospel, every lost man will get a body for torment! There are also another 3 types of resurrections, the First Fruits (Old Testament Saints), the Harvest (The dead in Christ & those ‘raptured”), and the Gleanings (Those faithful from the tribulation).
