“In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape and the children’s teeth are set on edge. But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.” (Jeremiah 31: 29-30)
The history of the Kings of Judah is filled with good ,Godly kings and evil, idolotrous kings. Out of 20 Kings, 8 did right and 12 did evil. It’s very common today for people to cast themselves as victims, blaming others for their poor choices; usually parents. Out of those 12 evil Kings of Judah, 4 sons walked not in the ways of their fathers and were good Kings. And 4 of the evil Kings were sons of good Kings. God won’t override our free will. God holds everyone of us accountable for our choices. Will you turn out good or evil? It’s your choice. How will your children turn out? Eventually, it’s going to be up to them.
