The greatest obstacle to salvation is when a lost person doesn’t know they’re lost and bound for hell. If they knew, they’d look for a saviour. It’s very possible we could be part of that obstacle. Are we Christ-like, or carnal? Are we different enough for them to notice? Or do we blend in with the world around us? We’re to be set apart, reflecting God’s glory, His holiness (not ours) to the world. Getting saved is awesome but God wants more from us than just escaping hell. He wants to grow the life of Christ within us and that takes the complete surrender of our will. Then we can be vessels unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use and prepared unto every good work.
