People sought after Jesus looking for miracles but not seeking Himself. We are not guaranteed miracles but we have free access to the throne of grace to see us through. Like the stone water pots Jesus asked the servants to fill with water, the unbelieving human heart is like stone. When we fill it with the Word, with prayer, with faithfulness and fellowship in church that creates a kind of miracle in us. Especially when we fill it to the brim!
