There are friends and enemies of Jesus. Are we sometimes friends with Jesus’ enemies? Jesus commanded that we love one another because He knew the world would hate those that most resemble Jesus. The world is fine with a generic idea of God but viciously rejects God the Father and God the Son. Paul was loved by the Jews until he switched sides. It’s the spirit of Caine that the world is full of; it hates the truth, it hates the one who will one day reclaim this earth and His Church. Do you try to ‘get along’ with the world by being a ‘secret’ Christian?
“Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God (James 4:4)”.
Are we living Godly enough to be hated by the world? Are we even living Godly enough to even be annoying to the world? If not, Why not?
