God acts through miracles or providence. There are no miracles in Genesis until Moses and the signs, then miracles with Elijah and Elisha then almost none until John the Baptist says He’s coming. There was only one leper cleansed in the Old Testament until Jesus. Then the apostles were given signs and miracles during the apostolic period. Providence can be described as “God’s unseen hand.” God’s Providence is responsible for the countless fulfilled prophecies, fulfilled promises and the unparalleled types and pictures that flow in and out of the Word of God from Genesis to Revelation.
