After rising from the dead, Jesus took the sin of the world down into hell, into the fire they deserved, then he took “captivity captive,” delivering paradise and the Old Testament saints into the 3rd Heaven. Yet in the midst of this, His most miraculous work so far, and before He had ascended to The Father, bringing the trespass offering (His blood) to the Mercy Seat, He took time out to show Himself to Mary Magdalene at His tomb.
