The end of the year is a great time for looking forward. “forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,” (Philippians 3:13) It’s important to remember that we don’t have vision without light.
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4).
As we look forward into 2026 let’s check our vision. Jesus restored sight for people and with His light our vision can be restored, sharpened and focused. Eve had everything in the garden to look at but she looked upon the one prohibited thing. Peter walked on water until he took his eyes off Jesus. David looked on Bathsheba and that tragedy echoed for centuries. Jesus saw Judas but the disciples didn’t. Jesus looked upon Peter when the cock crew. If you’re born again, you have the gift of spiritual eyes. If we walk in the spirit this year, we’ll be able to better see where we ought to go and where we ought not!
