At the birth of Jesus there were angels everywhere. “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2: 13,14). Angels announced Jesus. Angels ministered to Jesus. Angels celebrated His victory over sin, death and Satan. There were 12 legions of angels available to Jesus (enough to wipe out all of mankind) but he accomplished Calvary alone. He was the only one who could. There’s no hate in this world for angels, only for the risen Christ.
