Where Will You Spend Eternity?

THERE ARE ONLY TWO POSSIBILITIES

( 1 ) Living with God in a perfect universe forever (Heaven).

( 2 ) Burning with Satan in fire and brimstone forever (Hell).

These are the only two options presented in the Bible and the Bible has never been wrong about anything. If you wish to live with God, then you have to accept His terms.

Since you, as a human being, cannot make yourself holy (“Not by works of righteousness which we have done…” Titus 3:5), the Lord is ready to give you His righteousness(His goodness) instead. His righteousness is contained in Jesus Christ, who went to the cross “to be sin for us…that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus Christ came to save you from hell when He suffered for your sin on the cross. If you receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour then you receive perfect Righteousness and Holiness, so that you cn please God and be acceptable in His sight. Any other attempt to gain God’s acceptance will not work. God “now commandeth all men everywhere to repent: (Acts 17:30). That means you have to give up your old way of thinking and living and turn to God. The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). That is the invitation. Neither your “church,” your “baptism,” nor your “good works” can save you: you must trust Jesus Christ alone, by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

“Accept” Jesus

BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN??

Accept that you are a lost sinner: Romans 3:10, 23; 1 John 1:8; Isaiah 64:6; Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 5:12

Accept you are under the wrath of God because of your sin and will go to hell. Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:14; John 3:36, Romans 1:18; Ezekiel 18:4; Isaiah 57:21

Accept that you cannot save yourself. Titus 3:5; Romans 3:20; Ephesians 2:8; Romans 11:6; Galatians 2:16; 1 John 5:11

Accept that only Jesus can save you.  John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:5; Acts 4:12; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10, 19; 1 John 1:7; John 10:9; 12:46; 8:24; 6:51

Accept His salvation by faith in Jesus alone, not by works (anything you do). Acts 16:31; John 3:16-18; 3:36; Galatians 3:26; John 1:12; Romans 10:9; 3:28

Accept the truth that Jesus died in your place on the cross, was buried and rose again after 3 days. 1 Corinthians 15:3-6, John 11:25-26, Matthew 28: 5-6, 1 Peter 1:3,

The proof God accepted Jesus’ payment for your sin-debt is His resurrection from the dead. If, by faith, you trust in Christ’s finished work of your salvation, you will receive the Holy Spirit and be born again, sealed by His Spirit unto the day of redemption. What Adam destroyed, Christ will make alive; the image of God in you. (1 Corinthians 15:22)

If you get saved you are born again, this means you will not only go to heaven when you die but you have a new life in Christ now! CLICK TO LEARN MORE

Because of your new birth you need to find a church family. Be sure to look for a Bible believing church where both grace and truth are preached.

You need a Bible and you need to read it daily. The Bible for a faithful Christian is the King James Authorized Version. There are at least 135 other translations that boast of being ‘easier’ but every one of them is based on manuscripts written by gnostics in Alexandria Egypt. The King James AV 1611 was translated from Greek and Hebrew manuscripts in Antioch which was the first church founded outside of Jerusalem.

You need to pray. Talk to God, he’s your loving father if you’re born again. Jesus is your brother and His Holy Spirit lives inside you.

At some point, at your church, when you’re ready, you will want to be baptized. Baptism doesn’t save you, it’s a public profession of your faith and illustrates the death, burial and resurrection that you are trusting.
